The biscuits were originally round, with dots from the iron plate on which they were made.

The biscuits were originally round, with dots from the iron plate on which they were made. Silváns has kept this shape but decided to innovate and stamp the biscuits with 19 different designs. The images are all related to Galician traditions and symbols and include the pilgrims’ shell, the thurible, the Santiago Cathedral, the Tower of Hercules, the Lugo Wall, As Burgas in Ourense and the Cíes and Ons islands.
There are also four Celtic symbols, carnival masks, the oak leaf, a bunch of grapes and the ancient tree, a symbol of Taboada. On the other side, all the biscuits are stamped with a map of Galicia.
The product does not need preservatives and can be vacuum packed for six months in perfect condition.
Silváns also decided to innovate and create new flavours, adding coconut and almond varieties to the range.
